1.25" no maker. Fifth anniversary refers to the club's fifth year in teh Negro American League as they joined in 1937. The 1942 Kansas City Monarchs won the Negro American League title with a final record of 28-10, far outdistancing the second place Cleveland Buckeyes. This edition of the Monarchs were led by future National Baseball Hall of Famers, Satchel Paige, Hilton Smith, Willard Brown and star first baseman, Buck O'Neil. Glossy, Exc.
