3" w/black cardboard back and two small brackets that once held wire easel for propping up. Front at 5 o'clock names "Thompson Photo NY". Text reads "1902 Slocum For Mine." Fort Slocum was in New Rochelle, NY. Posed before a brick building with ivy covered walls are nine players in uniform and two men in two styles of military uniforms. "U.S." insignia can be seen on collar of man in chair at right. In the foreground are five bats, catcher's mask and chest protector, two gloves and one player holds a ball.
