See previous three items. Offered here is 11x12.75" totally hand-made prototype placemat design on thin artboard w/meticulously hand-cut pieces and hand-done accents, outlines, details in ink and paint. This concept was proposed for both Quaker and Post cereal mascots. 1960s. Prototype depicts Post cereal mascot Sugar Bear. Brown paper applied to artboard makes up most of Sugar Bear's face while stiff yellow and white paper makes up rest. Larger black portions including his nose, mouth, pupils and eyebrows have been painted. All line work has been hand-done. Back has "A Creation Of Sam Gold - Premium King" foil crown sticker. Scattered moderate aging to eyes and left side of face. Fine. An exceptional, one-of-a-kind piece for the cereal collector. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
