Item Description
Three 16.25x21.75" artboards feature pen and ink original art for complete three-page story originally published in DRAG Cartoons #7 in 1964 by Russ Manning and Pete Millar. Art is for One Tiger To A Hill story, which recounts the history o regulation in hot rodding, noting parodies of hot rod associations NHDA (Natural Hot Dog Affiliation, showing them as the Three Musketeers) and UDRA (United Drag Rebels Association, w/one cape-wearing member looking suspiciously like Superman). Great drag racing and fight illustrations. Top of first artboard has additional original art for tiny header cartoon, which has been cut-out and pasted to artboard. Lower left of each artboard has inked page number and margins have some scattered editorial notations. Staple holes at top left w/scattered margin aging. Art has some scattered white correctional fluid remains clean and Exc. overall. From the Archives of Publisher Pete Millar.
