Item Description
20x30" paper sign advertising Hood goodie grab bags of frozen novelties. 1960s. Image at top of sign shows boy playing baseball, as well as six patches from series that were offered as free premiums w/bags of Hood's frozen novelties. Patches were die-cut paper w/peel-off sticker backs and those shown include - the Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Francisco Giants, Philadelphia Phillies and Cleveland Indians. Sign has not been folded but shows some handling/corner tip wear, more moderate at bottom corners. Fine/VF. Comes w/four unused shelf talkers which have some aging across top from adhesive strips on back. Exc. Lot also includes seven unused patches, including all teams mentioned above w/exception of the Yankees. Two Chicago Cubs patches are included instead. Exc. All are file copies. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
