Item Description
9-1/8x13" window sign w/gummed left/right margins advertises series of eight books published by Whitman in 1934 that were issued as Korlix Pudding and Lemix Pie Filling premiums. Sign features image of books at left, including - Tailspin Tommy, Tarzan Twins, Men Of The Mounted, Tarzan Of The Apes, Terry And The Pirates, Ella Cinder And The Mysterious House, Chester Gump Finds The Hidden Treasure and Dick Tracy The Detective. Right of sign features product images w/red pencil "X." Sign shows moderate wear, w/scattered margin wear including tears/tears, vertical/horizontal creases at center and jagged 1.25x1.5" piece missing from center right w/.75 tear. Good/VG overall. Rare and the only example we've seen in our 54 years. An exceptional sign w/great crossover appeal. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
