4.75x7.75". Addressed to "Bradley Gilman Esq. Boston, Mass." TR writes in part ""Now I Agree With You That The Voters Want To Be Protected From Themselves, As You Say, But That Only Means Protected To The Extent Of Giving Themselves Full Time To Form A Deliberate Judgment." Pencil notation "April '12" at top right. Horizontal and vertical crease and two well flattened horizontal folds. Otherwise faint age toning and a few scattered dots of toning. VF. Signature is executed in black fountain pen ink and remains bold and unfaded. Exc. Comes w/original mailing envelope. Gilman was a classmate of TR's at Harvard and worked for his 1912 GOP hopeful campaign. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
