Item Description
Original box w/illustrated lid contains 8" long tin litho and soft plastic figure w/built-in key. Made in Japan by Tada Factory, 1960s. Box features portraits and illustration of Osamu Tezuka's iconic manga character Mighty Atom (Astro Boy's name in Japan) swimming. Box has Mushi Productions foil label w/Mighty Atom image and is evenly aged. Box has some scattered creases to side as well as remnants of two price stickers. Fine/VF. Toy has Might Atom image on chest as well as Tada Factory name/logo and chest and pants show some wear. Wind-up function still works, causing toy's arms to spin as if swimming. Arms have some aging and toy is Fine/VF overall. Scarce w/original box.
