First published as Electrical Experimenter by Experimenter Publishing Co., the name was changed to Science And Invention in 1920; the last issue was published in August 1931. One of Hugo Gernsback's famous popular technical magazines, much of the covers and content focus on science and technology (similar to Popular Mechanics, only more fantastical) w/Science-Fiction content mixed in. Offered here is lot of 26 issues, published between April 1921 and July 1928. Breakdown is as follows - 1921 - Vol. 8, Whole No. 96, #12 (April); Vol. 9, Whole No. 99, #3 (July). 1923 - Vol. 11, Whole No. 123, #3 (July); Whole No. 124, #4 (Aug.). 1924 - Whole No. 130, #10 (Feb.); Whole No. 131), #11 (March); Vol. 12, Whole No. 133, #1 (Nov.), Whole No. 134; #2 (June); Whole No. 136, #4 (Aug.); Whole No. 139, #7 (Nov.). 1925 - Vol. 12, Whole No. 144, #12 (April); Vol. 13, Whole No. 146, #2 (June); Whole No. 149, #5 (Sept.); Whole No. 151, #7 (Nov.). 1926 - Vol. 13, Whole No. 153, #9 (Jan.); Whole No. 156, #12 (April); Vol. 14, Whole No. 158, #2 (June); Whole No. 161, #5 (Sept.); Whole No. 163, #7 (Nov.). 1927 - Vol. 14, Whole No. 166, #10 (Feb.); Whole No. 168, #12 (April); Vol. 15, Whole No. 170, #2 (June); Whole No. 174, #6 (Oct.). 1928 - Vol. 14, Whole No. 179, #11 (March); Vol. 16, Whole No. 181, #1 (May); Whole No. 183, #3 (July). Issues feature great full color covers (18 w/gilt covers), some of the best including spaceman from "The Man From The Atom" cover story, giant submarine/tank, "Radio Police Automaton" robot, fiery comet smashing to Earth, early Martian, cryogenics, airship and deep sea diver rescuing woman from clutches of large octopus. Aug. 1923 issue has loose cover and issues show general aging/wear and are Fine to VF overall. Extensive lot of this great publication, featuring some key issues.
