Item Description
11x28" thin cardboard sign features portrait of Dick Tracy at left, referring to him as "America's No. 1 Detective" and going on to mention "Daily In The Star-Tribune," most likely for the St. Louis Star-Times, which ceased publication in 1951. Sign dates to the 1940s. Bottom left missing 3/8x.75" corner piece and sign has evenly aged. Some scattered corner tip wear w/crease at lower left. Fine overall, but would make for nice display if matted and framed. Rare.
