Item Description
3-3/8"x5-3/8" vintage silver gelatin postcard depicting 10 ballplayers in full uniform along with a gentleman in formal attire seated at center and a boy dressed in formal attire seated in front at far right with period baseball equipment on display in the foreground. This local town ball team would take on all comers in their local Pennsylvania area. Image quality of this photograph is superb, upper left-hand corner has been clipped off with .75" crease visible in lower right-hand corner. Divided postcard back remains blank and unused. AZO stamp box dates this card to 1904-18. VG. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
