Item Description
Original photo illustrated box contains 8.75" tall tin litho and plastic wind-up w/built-in key. Made in Japan for the Japanese market by Popy, 1970s. Space Ironmen Kyodyne is a Japanese tokusatsu (any live-action film or TV drama that features considerable use of special effects) Sci-Fi/superhero series. The show premiered in 1976 and ran for 48 episodes. Offered here is Grounzel, who is able to transform into a car-like form known as the Grouncar (toy does not transform). Wind-up shows just scattered wear w/paint nicks/scratches to tin litho body (most evident at .25" area on back of one foot). Plastic head has a few tiny paint rubs. VF overall. Works. Box has some scattered fading and shows wear w/creases, corner tip/edge wear and aged strip of tape/tape staining at bottom. .25" line puncture on back main panel. VG/Fine.
