Item Description
Lot of three Cisco Kid items issued in Canada by Wrigley's Gum, c. 1949. 13x18" slick paper poster features illustration of Cisco waving from back of horse w/promotional text for airing on Toronto station CKEY. Large Wrigley's Spearmint chewing gum pack at bottom w/promotional text across bottom margin. Some lt. scattered handling wear w/1.75" tear at top right margin w/tape repair on back. Still displays VF overall. Only example of this poster we know of. Original mailer envelope w"Wrigley's Spearmint Gum" return address and image of The Cisco Kid shows moderate wear and is Fine. Contains 3.75" long translucent plastic arrowhead identical to that used as Tom Mix Ralston premium. 95% of gold luster text remains. Item features a whistle, siren and two magnifying lenses. Exc. Scarce premium w/rare envelope. 1.25" dia. cello button is rare radio club issue featuring crossed spurs, horseshoe and rope border design. Glossy and Exc.
