Item Description
12x81" thin cardboard sign promotes baseball book by New York Giants Manager John McGraw (1873-1934), who would manage the NL's New York Giants for a total of 30 seasons, retiring in 1932. He was elected to the National Baseball HOF in 1937. Sign includes photo of McGraw in baseball uniform as well as image of the book itself, which was published in 1922. Sign notes $1 price and includes "The Book "The Science Of Baseball' Will Help The Game" testimonial from McGraw. Hole at top center for hanging display as produced. Top corners and bottom center have pin holes. Bottom margin has 1.25" strip of dust soiling and sign has some corner tip wear. Fine. Rare.
