Item Description
Pair of 4.75x6.5" sticker sheets, each featuring same early "The Star Wars" logo design by conceptual artist Ralph McQuarrie. Logo was created by McQuarrie at the request of George Lucas c. Summer of 1975 and features an early concept design of Luke Skywalker holding lightsaber w/planet in bkg. Bottom features "The Star Wars" name, the original working title for the film. Stickers such as this were used on various production materials including scripts and cast and crew books, a sticker identical to this also adorned the rushes book in which notes were kept for each take during the production. Each triangular sticker measures approx. 4x5". One sheet shows some lt. wear w/faint crease crossing bottom right corner of sticker, but both are unused and Exc.
