Item Description
Trio of 14x20" high quality silk-screened prints for "A Rock & Roll Dance Party" that took place June 18, 2005 at the South Lake Tahoe Elks Club in Lake Tahoe, CA. Featured Guitar Shorty, a blues guitarist well-known for his explosive guitar style and wild stage antics. Design by Mark Arminski features portrait of woman w/Native American stylings at center. First print has handwritten "Artist's Proof" at lower left and has been signed at lower right in pencil by Arminski. This print has also been signed in silver paint pen by Guitar Shorty, who adds heart and "U For Ever" text and "5/21/05" date. Two .25" faint moisture spots along left margin and corner tip wear. VF. Second print is signed and numbered "199/200" in pencil by Arminski. Exc. Third print has also been signed and numbered "196/200" in pencil by Arminski, while margins have been fully remarqued and are completely filled w/Arminski's original pencil art. Some images include - man w/dagger stuck through head, a tattooed hitchhiking arm, Chinese dragon at top center, flowers, stars, comical fish and man standing in water. Wonderful original art making this print totally unique. NM. From the Mark Arminski Archives and comes with a COA specially designed, signed and remarqued by him.
