Cardboard insert w/horizontal pin. "Whitehead & Hoag" on curl. Hake #2015. Diagonal scratches in reflected light most notably a cluster in Hoover's hairline at top left. Still Exc. Every other example of this design we have encountered was gray tone. This is the only brown tone example we've seen in our 54 years. A rare opportunity at an impressive display piece.
