Item Description
10.5x14x8" deep cardboard shipping carton contains vacuform plastic display tray that holds six different plastic case pocket watches w/miniature batting helmets. Westclox, ©1968 MLB Promotion Corp. Westclox made 24 Team-Mate pocket watches in this 1968 series - 12 featuring NL teams, 12 featuring AL teams - which were issued in four assortments as per box numbers. Offered here is assortment 39235, which includes Boston Red Sox, Detroit Tigers, New York Mets, Chicago Cubs, Montreal Expos and Philadelphia Phillies watches. Each is packaged within thin plastic tube w/cardboard insert/lid and string tag designed like baseball game ticket. All have "Special Offer" stickers noting the included matching team batting helmet. Phillies plastic has some scattered cracks and lids have some lt. scattered aging but o/w watches are NM as packaged. Old store stock. Packaging is Fine to VF. Display includes assembly instructions card but is missing cardboard backdrop and displays nicely as is. Card is aged and Fine but o/w display is Exc. Shipping carton is complete w/cardboard inserts and shows wear from mailing w/partially split corner. VG/Fine.
