Item Description
2.5x7x11.5" pair of color illustrated boxes w/inserts containing English made plastic guns. First is Space Pilot 3 Colour Super-Sonic Gun with High Frequency Resonator. Marked as Merit Toy,© 1958 J&L Randall Ltd. Lt. aging/edge wear to box. VF. Insert w/highly detailed labeling of gun features has one small split at back of gun. Gun worked when tested, lights and color changes when dial is turned. Exc. Next is Space Pilot Nuclear Missile Gun Safety Model. Has two safety missiles (suction cup darts), Solar Compass, Interplantary Selector and Velocity Control. Color graphics on lid out of register and blurry. Lt. aging/wear overall. Two split corners are nicely repaired. Insert nice and intact. Displays Fine. Gun shows lt. aging/wear. Exc. No marking but also attributed to Merit Toy. Graphics of Dan Dare on both lids but not named. Rare pair from England.
