Item Description
1.25" w/J. Floersheim, Kunstadter & Co. back paper. Depicting the famous scene of "Mrs. O'Leary's Cow" starting the 1871 Chicago fire and advertising the "Chicago Day Sound Money Demonstration Oct. 9, 1896." The event was one of the largest political parades in US history where some 750,000 spectators watched over 100,000 marchers. Scattered tiny gray dots on rim curl not seen from front. Otherwise only light surface wear. Exc.
