Item Description
7/8" tall. Figural enamel on brass lapel stud depicts the Yellow Kid, the first ever comic strip character, wearing a nightshirt reading "Hogan's Alley Is Out Fer McKinley." This slogan represents the first ever comic character endorsement of a presidential candidate. Reverse and stud retains traces of the original silver application. Enamel has a tiny loss by mouth and neck. Extremely Fine. Scarce.
