Item Description
Small .75" w/curl naming maker Phila. Badge Co. The text is the name used by a group of teams comprised of young players in the Philadelphia area throughout the 1940s. Connie Mack was a professional baseball player from 1886-1896 before embarking on what would become the most successful and longest tenured managerial career in MLB history with the Philadelphia Athletics from 1901-1950. Mack was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1937. Unlisted in Muchinsky and the only example we've seen in our 55 years. Glossy, Exc.
