Item Description
1.25" w/blank concave metal back but known to be produced by Simpson of Indianapolis. Eagle w/draped American flag at top and slogan "Indiana's Choice." Less than .5" area of missing cello at 3 o'clock w/faint light brown moisture mark extending just into the background of Stevenson portrait. Otherwise moderate surface wear. Technically Fine but nice contrast and clarity help this display above grade. A fascinating coattail featuring Kern who was later nominated for Vice President alongside Bryan in 1908. See matching McKinley, Roosevelt & Durbin as lot #208. Larry Brokofsky Collection.
