Item Description
LaMarcus Adna Thompson is known as the Father of the American Roller Coaster and built his "Scenic Railway" rides at amusement parks from Coney Island west across America to the Pacific coast. This 3" cardboard string tag, likely for a scenic railway at Coney Island 's Steeplechase or Luna Parks, served as a ticket with front depicting older and younger couples enjoying the views from their elevated car. VF.
