Item Description
15x22" artboard has pen and ink original art for first page of Buck Rogers #100 (#7), published by Toby Publishing in 1951. Art is by Ray Chatton and features hand-lettered "Buck Rogers In The 25th Century" title w/hand-lettered "The Adventure Of The Flying Disc" chapter title. Page features three panels and deals w/beginning of story where Buck Rogers and Dr. Huer time travel to the Korean War. Both Buck and Dr. Huer are seen in second and third panels, along w/flying saucers. Chatton has signed at bottom right. Top margin has inked title, issue/page numbers and bottom margin has handwritten publishing information in blue pencil. Some scattered lt. margin soiling w/small area of lt. staining at lower left, slightly affecting edge of second panel. Art is o/w clean and VF. Gene Seger Buck Rogers Collection.
