Item Description
27.5x41" poster for Chapter 1, "Tomorrow's World," of the 1939 12 chapter Sci-Fi movie serial, produced by Universal Pictures and featuring Buster Crabbe in the title role, co-starring Constance Moore, Jackie Moran and Anthony Warde. Posters for the individual chapters feature unique art (see others in this auction), this chapter showing large portrait image of Crabbe at bottom left w/exploding spaceship at top of poster. Poster was originally folded and has now been linen-mounted w/fold lines being noticeable only upon close inspection. Poster has had scattered professional restoration to lower half of poster along left/right and bottom margins. Some minor scattered restoration along fold lines and at fold crease intersections. Poster retains a bright and clean appearance and displays Exc. Gene Seger Buck Rogers Collection.
