Item Description
6.25x8x1.5" deep chipboard box w/illustrated lid label showing Mighty Atom (better known in the US as Astro Boy) and Mighty Atom's robot sister Uran. Contains 5.25" tall celluloid figure of Osamu Tezuka's iconic manga character Mighty Atom attached to wire trapeze frame which has wind-up key motor attached. Made in Japan for the Japanese market by ATD, Asakusa Toys, 1960s. Box shows some scattered aging and wear w/lid label showing some lt. scattered staining and bubble along left edge. Box is Fine/VF. Toy works and aside from some minor aging to flag counterweight, Exc. Rare as boxed.
