Item Description
1.25" w/"New York 9" union bug on curl and back stamp. First reads "Outlaw Anti-Semitism And Discrimination." Moderate wear in reflected light. Exc. Likely issued by the American Jewish Labor Council. They were considered a communist front group operating in the late 1940s into the early 1950s. The group worked against German rearmament post-WWII and provided aid to decimated Jewish populations in Europe.
