Item Description
1.25" w/W&H back paper. When viewing reverse there is a crimping error at 12 and 1 o'clock and the collet is slightly loose likely as made. These are barely perceivable when viewing from the front. Cello surface has light wear consistent w/limited use. Technically Fine but displaying above grade. Though often confused for a suffrage piece anchored in New York's African American community, this button actually pre-dates the mass influx of African American's to Harlem post-WWI. Still this button has a legend as one of the toughest suffrage pins to obtain. In our 55 years this is only the third we've encountered and first we've offered.
