Lot of three 11x17" Marvel Comics artboards w/nicely detailed pencil original art by Dave Hoover (1955-2011), who worked as both an animator at Filmation Studios (where he worked on the Tarzan cartoon) and Hanna-Barbera as well as a comic artist, working on DC Comics' The Wanderers and Starman as well as Marvel's Tarzan and Captain America. Two illustrations show Tarzan w/Jad-bal-ja, the Golden Lion while other shows the King of the Apes staring down rescuing woman from King Kong. Each has been signed and dated "2/95" in black felt tip pen at bottom. Artboard w/illustration of Tarzan and Jad-bal-ja on stone outcropping has .5" area of errant inking at bottom, o/w art remains clean and Exc. Bill Kamper Tarzan Collection.
