Item Description
21x26.25" double-mat contains illustration board that has been double-matted to 11.5x16". Art is attributed to Ernest Nordli (1912-1968), a Disney animation designer and layout artist who also provided cover art for Dell's Lone Ranger, Cisco Kid and Red Ryder comic books. Board has mixed media original art painting of Red Ryder and Littler Beaver in shootout w/unseen person in distant Western town. Art is for cover to Red Ryder Ranch Comics #151 (final issue of this title), published by Dell in April-June 1957. Art is Exc. and has been matted alongside an example of the comic this art was created for and is ready for framing.
