Item Description
Each is 1" w/union bug on curl and bug back stamp. The 1956 Portland Beavers Minor League baseball club was a Brooklyn Dodgers affiliate and finished in third place in the Pacific Coast League with a record of 86-82 under managers Tommy Holmes and Bill Sweeney. Eight of nine, missing is Jim Baxes, third base. In position order the eight offered here are: Rene Valdez, pitcher; Sam Calderone, catcher (light tone); Ed Mickelson, first base; Eddie Basinski, infielder (brown age stain and surface bit concave); Jack Littrell, shortstop (faint tone); Bob Borkowski, outfielder; Luis Marquez, outfielder (faint tone); Tom Saffell, outfielder.
