Item Description
Howie Wing, A Saga Of Aviation was a 15-minute children's radio serial sponsored by Kellogg's. Written by WWI ace Captain Wilfred Gibbs Moore. The program had a short life with just three seasons airing during 1938-39. However during that time, numerous great premiums were issued and this lot contains a good portion of those. All but one piece in this lot issued by Kellogg's. 18 pieces in total. Metal wings badges (2), cello button, aluminum coin, handbooks (2 versions) and certificate w/envelope, newspaper, club folder, sign-up order form, cardboard punch-outs all unused: Moving Picture Machine (w/picture sheet), Pilot's Pistol, Mystery Message Decoder (w/env.), Typhoon Tootel Ventriloquist Dummy (w/instruction sheet). Scattered wear/age but mostly Fine to Exc. An extensive, instant collection. Some items are the actual examples shown in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake and comes with Hake's COA.
