Item Description
27x41" Style B advance poster for the classic 1977 Sci-Fi film by George Lucas. Blue poster features "Star Wars" logo and tag line "A Long Time Ago In A Galaxy Far, Far Away..." w/o the additional art featured on later posters. By the time this poster was issued, the font in the title had been altered to the style that would become famous. 77/21-0 number in lower right corner. Poster has been rolled and exhibits scattered handling wear w/some age spotting to 2" section of lower right margin. Margins show scattered wear w/small creases and larger crease at upper left corner. Lower left has 7" hairline crease above 20th Century Fox studio logo. Fine overall. Charles Lippincott Collection.
