Item Description
Grouping of five artboards, each 10.25x15-5/8" w/pen and ink original art by Dan DeCarlo (1919-2001) w/inks by Rudy Lapick (1926-2004) for Archie's Girls Betty And Veronica #278, published Feb. 1979 by Archie Comic Publications, Inc. Story, titled "Laugh Track," features Betty advising Veronica to not overreact when people laugh at her. Betty and Veronica are featured extensively throughout and story features appearances by Moose and other Riverdale High students. Back of each artboard has Comics Code Authority inkstamps. First artboard has title stat paste-over at top left. Other artboards have aged strips of tape at top or bottom center margins (sometimes both top and bottom), none affecting art, which remains clean and Exc.
