Item Description
Grouping of 11 artboards, each approx. 10.5x15.75" w/pen and ink original art by Stan Goldberg (1932-2014) w/inks by Rudy Lapick (1926-2004) for Life With Archie #197, published Sept. 1978 by Archie Comic Publications, Inc. Story deals w/Archie Andrews' life-saving rescue of a small girl and culminates in a ghostly series of events that seem to predict the future, allowing Archie to heroically rescue two small children. Archie is featured throughout and story features appearances by Archie's father Mr. Andrews, Mr. Lodge and Veronica. Back of each artboard has Archie copyright and Comics Code Authority inkstamps. First artboard has publishing indicia stat paste-over at bottom and aged strip of tape at top center margin. Other artboards have aged strips of tape at top/bottom center margins, none affecting art, which remains clean and Exc.
