Item Description
Lot of six 5x15" artboards, each w/pen and ink over blue pencil original art by Garfield creator Jim Davis. Art is for six consecutive days, missing only Sunday page art for that week. Dates range from Dec. 26 to 31, 2005. Art features great content, including Garfield in Santa and party hats, gag w/spider and Jon Arbuckle unsuccessfully attempting to find dates for New Years. Garfield appears in every panel of each strip while Jon appears in five strips (of those five, he is missing from just one panel). Each has been signed and dated by Davis as well as having handwritten Paws, Inc. copyright in between panels. Faint blue pencil dates at top margins. Back of each artboard has inked strip number.
