Item Description
This near complete advertising kit for Stokely's Finest Foods Catsup and Chili Sauce features mystery novel and film character Charlie Chan. 1930s. Kit comes w/original worn mailing envelope, which contains 21x30.5" textured paper poster, two different 11x21" textured paper streamers (poster and both of these featuring Chan image), 3.25x6-3/8" six-panel folder advertising both Stokely's and Charlie Chan radio show (noting/showing Magician Tricks and Mandarin Cap premiums), approx. 17" long paper "Stokely's Finest Catsup" pennant, two unused die-cut cardstock price tags and inventory/instruction letter. Letter notes that kit included two copies of the six-panel folder, only one is present here. Rest is o/w complete. Items show varying degrees of wear/aging, w/envelope having heavy insect damage to one corner and large tear. VG. Aside from insect damage to tip of Catsup pennant, rest are Fine overall. Rare and first we've seen in our 55 years.
