Item Description
1.75"with age tone on W&H back paper and surface paper gone that removed half of the company address. Only our second seen (both in Weinberg Collection) and each has different imprint. The other was dated 1901 for Quincy Street Fair. This is an outstanding and seldom encountered W&H stock design in best color. Among the earliest buttons to show uniformed policeman. Tiny bit off center as made and barely visible few tiny gray dots on bottom edge. Our first with this imprint. Glossy and Exc. Last of two imprints in Alan Weinberg Collection.
