Item Description
3-3/8x5.5" vintage silver gelatin postcard depicting 11 team members in full uniform and posed in front of stadium seating. Imprint at bottom of photo reads "Calgary Professional Baseball Team - 1910" Credit in lower right-hand corner reads "Copy. 1910 - Progress Photo Co.". The 1910 Calgary Bronchos finished in first place in the Class D Western Canada League with a final record of 68-29 under manager, Bill Carney. Image quality of the photo is superb. .5" paper loss on back, top centerwith lt. even corner wear. Two diagonal 2" lt. creases on left and right sides. Divided postcard back has been postally used with a cancellation stamp date of May 11, 1910. Fine. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
