Item Description
3.25x5-3/8" vintage matte postcard depicting 13 ball players in full uniform posed on a ball field. Imprint at bottom of photo reads "Edmonton Baseball Team - 1910". Credit in lower right-hand corner reads "Empire Series". The 1910 Edmonton Eskimos finished in second place in the Class D Western Canada League with a final record of 61-32 under manager, William White. Divided postcard back has been postally used with a cancellation date of July 24, 1910. Upper right-hand corner on back contains 1" square of paper loss, likely due to removal of postage stamp. Moderate, even corner wear with Some toning visible around edges on back. Surface wrinkling visible in the upper left-hand corner on front. Fine. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
