Item Description
3-3/8x5-3/8 vintage matte postcard depicting 10 team members in full uniform along with one gentleman dressed in formal attire with flag in front reading "Knights of Columbus Base Ball Trophy". Bottom of postcard reads "Baseball Team of Warren Council No. 474, Knights of Columbus, Phillipsburg, N.J. '07". The combination of civic organizations along with sports teams always proves to be a popular collectible. Right hand border designed for message remains unused. Divided back includes PA address but was never postally cancelled. Lt. toning visible around the edges with lt., even corner wear along with evidence of scrapbook removal on back upper corners. VF. From the Richard Merkin collection and comes with Hake's COA.
