Item Description
3.5x5.5" vintage matte postcard depicting five team members from the Monterrey (Mexico) ball club. Hand written identifications on back reads "Suarez, Estrada, Bustamente, Sardinas, Contreras-Veracruz Mex - J - 2/55". Well noted for being a powerhouse team during the late 1930's and throughout most of the 1940's the Monterrey ball club won league championships on multiple occasions with Roy Campanella being their most famous alumni. Postcard exhibits lt. even corner wear with a couple of spots of lt. staining on back. Fine. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
