Item Description
19x27" print. 2004. Extremely limited re-creation of All Star Comics #35 by the original Golden Age cover artist, Irwin Hasen. This initial black and white screen print was hand-colored by Hasen, and is #4 out of a 20-print run. It was hand-numbered and signed in pencil by the artist. Printed on high quality heavy weight, bright white art paper w/deckled edges, piece features the Justice Society of America, and includes the Atom, Dr. Midnite, Flash, Wonder Woman, Hawkman, Green Lantern, and Johnny Thunder. The original comic appeared in June-July 1947. Lt. aging/wear. Small tear in top margin. Lt. handling crease top right margin. Both would mat out easily if framed. Overall Fine.
