Item Description
2-3/8" tall oval button with no maker, concave back, horizontal bar pin and curl suspending two red/blue/tan 3.5" ribbons. There is a 1/16" speck of something sealed under the cello at bottom of the chick's body but it looks like an intended color accent. Petaluma c.1910 was famous as a grain milling and chicken processing center and thus nicknamed "The Egg Capital Of The World". It was also the home of Lyman Bryce, the 1879 inventor of the egg incubator. High gloss and Exc. Only example known to us. See following related Petaluma button.
