8.5x11" paper sheets w/copy of art for the Amazing Spider-Man issue #2 featuring the first appearance of The Vulture (Adrian Toomes) and Tinkerer (Phineas Mason) by Steve Ditko that are hand-colored as color guides for the published reprint hard cover book Marvel Masterworks #1, Vol. 1 The Amazing Spider-Man. Complete 24 total story pages plus cover. Historic Silver Age Spider-Man storylines: "Dual To The Death With The Vulture" and backup story "The Uncanny Threat Of The Terrible Tinkerer" by Stan Lee with art by Steve Ditko. Color artist on reprint issue was Andy Yanchus. Paper pages w/"Marvel Masterworks The Amazing Spider-Man" written/stamped at top and marked up w/new color break notations. Cover has acetate overlay w/text color. Used in Marvel Masterworks #1 that reprinted Amazing Fantasy #15 and The Amazing Spider-Man #1-10 (November 1987). Lt. aging/handling wear and overall clean. Overall displays VF. From The Archives of Colorist Andy Yanchus.
