Item Description
Large and impressive 16.75x30.25" single-sided cardboard sign advertising Nestle Camy Colajets frozen treat offer. Nestle Camy is Spanish branch of the Nestle company, noted for their chocolate and ice cream treats. This unauthorized Star Wars tie-in was released c. 1988 based on the Nestle Camy logo and was quickly withdrawn due to the unauthorized use of C-3PO and the sign's clever play on "May The Force Be With You" catchphrase, printed here as "May The Luck Be With You." Nestle Camy's Colajets are a lemon and cola-flavored water ice lollie w/chocolate coating. One of these are pictured on the sign above spacesuit-clad child and C-3PO and bottom left shows "Colajet Gratis" popsicle stick that would grant bearer free treat. Single hanger hole at top center as produced. Sign has some minor corner tip wear but is o/w Exc. Rare due to recall of these display items. Only example we have offered.
