7/8" complete w/back paper. From a rare series of 29 MLB players. Portrait photo at center w/text "Lajoie/Cleveland.AM" while rim text is "Free With Diamond Gum." Back paper text "Get A Collection Of Ball Player's Buttons Free With Diamond Gum." Napoleon Lajoie, also known as Larry Lajoie and nicknamed "The Frenchman," played in MLB for the Philadelphia Phillies (1896-1900), Philadelphia Athletics (1901-1902/1915-1916) and Cleveland Naps (1902-1914). He was the 1901 Triple Crown winner and a five-time AL batting champ. Elected to the National Baseball HOF in 1937. Minor trace of surface wear, glossy and Exc.
