Item Description
Complete example of the first licensed Disney publication. 9x12" w/16 pages. Bibo & Lang, ©1930. This is a second to fourth printing, as these printings are indistinguishable from one another. However, we know it is not a first printing as there are Win Smith Mickey Mouse daily strips on page 8 and back cover, small "Printed In U.S.A." text on front cover and the age of Bobette Bibo is specified on title page. Typically found w/pages 9-10 removed; this complete copy has these pages intact. "Mickey Mouse Pawns" cut-outs on page 9 are to be used w/"Mickey Mouse Journey" gameboard on page 7. Rest of book features Mickey Mouse story of how he met Walt Disney and got his name, "Mickey Mouse You Cute Little Feller" sheet music and nice illustrations throughout including two full page images. Cover shows some aging and has pinch creases to spine. Pages are lightly aged and shows some handling creases that match those seen on cover. Fine copy of this historic book.
