Item Description
Large 24.75x28.25" triple mat contains artboard w/impressive mixed media original art portrait of New York Yankees legend Roger Maris (1934-1985), who played for the Yankees 1960-1966, winning two World Series w/the franchise and adding another as a member of the St. Louis Cardinals in 1967. A two-time AL MVP and seven-time All-Star, Maris' number has been retired by the Yankees. Art was created by Doug West, a renowned sports artist who has done extensive work for MLB, NFL, NHL and more. West has created wonderful portrait of Maris in Yankees cap beside image of him at bat. Art has been triple-matted to 15.5x19". West has signed art at bottom center. Exc. and ready for framing.
